What do you use as your household soap?
Handmade soap industry information can be hard to come by. We aren’t the Proctor and Gamble or SC Johnson’s of the world so it can be a challenge to know where you stand as a small local and natural business. An Ibis World report on Soap Manufacturing in the US states: “All Clean: High disposable income will push consumers toward high-cost, brand-name soaps” It seems that we are a $51.9bn industry with 3,991 business under this category.
Does this really reflect the artisinal maker? Without much information from other places we’ve researched and its hard to tell.
