Private soap making lessons involve soap history, choosing ingredients, and lining your mold. One apprentice made his own 6lb wood mold based on our handmade wood molds and we practiced how to mold it. Others enjoy a visit from the workshop cat to warm your lap.(Pets, children or other distractions should always be kept out of your work space when you use lye! This was during the pre-instruction part of class.)
