Crafted in Athens, Georgia our handmade soaps are the best! We love creating new soaps in our workshop and working with custom orders so this is not a final list at any given time… but these are all great ones! Each recipe is carefully considered so that the right oils, butters, and scents go together to give you the best soap experience. So choose the best handmade soap, at Normal Soap Company.
Some of the extra special oils we use:
- Grapeseed Oil: in it which is a superb moisturizer and rich in Vitamin E.
- Rice Bran Oil: rich in Vitamin E and anti-oxidants. This oil has long been used in Japan as a skin moisturizer and protector. Rice Bran Oil is especially used for treating dry and mature skin.
- Shea Butter: is a natural Vit. A cream, has superb moisturizer properties
- Cocoa Butter: moisturizes and protects the skin, great for people with skin sensitivities
- Hemp Seed Oil: contains Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids, linolenic acid and is a well balanced moisturizing oil
- Castor Oil: adds a bubbly, creamy lather and while we add 5% or less to our batches is has conditioning properties even in this small amount, natural emollient
We also use plenty of Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Palm Oil (although we do make Palm-Free Soaps!). The extra special oils above do cost more but we find that what they add to our handmade soap makes it worth the extra effort to make recipes that include them. Try our bars and you will notice the difference that our ingredients make. We also now make an all Organic ingredient soap!
